A Quiet Breakthrough in Ohio

About a decade ago, following a widely publicized and violent incident, a clinical psychologist in Ohio reached out to a neurofeedback provider for support. She had been working closely with police officers impacted by trauma and asked if her clients could access NeurOptimal® sessions.

The first officer who participated later confided to his psychologist that, prior to the sessions, he had been planning to take his own life due to overwhelming anxiety. Within just a few sessions, however, those feelings had lifted so dramatically that he could no longer imagine having been in such a dark place.
